Default windshield chip became crack
I took the car in to get two miniscule chips fixed and the local franchise shop cracked the windshield when they tried to fix the first chip.

Ever heard of this happening? Is it legit?

no man, that's sounds awful, where they will find another original windshield.
what do they say to u?
better name that shop name and keep us updated

That's very unfortunate. What happened to the crack? Did the shop pay for the damage?
