Hello,

While I do not own an Alpina, I have had the pleasure of driving AlpinaMan's cars (B7 Turbo, B10 and B11).

Congratulations on launching this new site and I look forward in participating in the discussions and sharing information.

I currently own a NA spec e28 M5 that's been somewhat modified. A pic and details of the modifications can be found here on the ///M Registry.

And as AlpinaMan pointed out, we have organized an event called Rolling the Twisties (RTT). Details about this year's event will be posted soon on the link in Alpinaman's introduction thread.

Here's a link to a video of last years event:

Great to have you join us Mark. I've never owned an E28 but the number of E28 fans on here makes me think I may be missing out on something.

RTT looks like a good time.

Hello Stirling, and yes, I'm a big fan of the e28. Perhaps we could plan a meet this spring. It would be great to see your car in person.

Absolutely. If not at Tedfest, which I hope to be at, then on another trip down. Does the E28 ever get to Mosport for BMW club DE weekends?

That is a great idea, Mark and I and few other enthusiast would always get together as soon as we find any free weekend in summer time and have beer shoot some shit and BBQ, also we have club house with lift and great two bay garage that some of us would work on their cars with good supply of parts.

No, I have not run the car at Mosport. Drivers school is on the to do list. Tedfest has certainly grown to be a very popular event over the years. It all started here, around 2004 & 2005 in a dead end court in Mississauga.

Yes AlpinaMan, a gathering at the club house just west of Toronto would be cool.
