How to verify Alpina Engine numbers
Currently looking at an engine that has 9157489 C1/1 5039 stamped on the block.
My initial thought is it's from a C1 car, but was it a 2.3 or 2.5 based engine. |

My head has the last numbers of the VIN stamped into the front passenger corner of the head, but it is a V-12.

Yeah the numbers are stamped just trying to figure out which one variant it was based on.
