Default B10 in Vancouver

Hey all,

A few months ago i picked up a 98 B10 V8 from the sketchiest dealer I've ever been to, haha. But the car is so clean, it looks better than most one or two year old BMWs. It's a grade 4.5 and only 90k on the clock.
It was a toss up between the M5 and this, and the Alpina was a no brainer. After selling my i3, I must say this is a step in the totally opposite direction haha.

I'll post some pics soon, also just installed a new deck in it, and had to rip out so much wiring from the previous Japanese navigation unit

Congrats on the purchase

I believe you had CG check it out before you bought it right? Sounds like it was in good shape. It wasn't a 4.5 grade though, it was a 4 C. Still good

i'm just in the middle of replacing the Japanese NAVJ with a Mk IV in my L7.

Any tips for me? Or are you talking about the aftermarket TV screens that most Japanese cars seem to have screwed into the dashboard?

Do you daily drive the car? If not, you should put in a factory deck so you can get it registered as a collector car. My insurance is only $500 per year on collectors.

Gorgeous. Good to see a number of E39s coming into Canada.
