Default Deco Stripes

I finally got around to installing the deco stripe kit. I've had them since I bought the car 4 years ago and never installed them.

I did the work myself, its pretty tricky, but if you are careful and take your time, its not that hard to do.

The front air dam spoiler is the hardest to do because of the curves. I actually did this a few years back when I had the bumper off the car to get painted. I can't imagine doing this if the bumper was on the car.

Looks good. Did you go with a set of Alpina stripes, or the reproductions you can find on the UK ebay site? Also, how thick are your tape stripes - they come in 2mm and a thicker set for mine according to Alpina.

They are from Alpina and the stripes are 3 mm wide.

Looks good

You are missing "ALPINA" from the front doors though aren't you?

Good eye. The ALPINA decal actually goes on the front fenders. I asked Alpina and they are 30 euros for the pair. Haven't decided if I should get them.

Interesting....I just assumed it would go in the same place as on the E36 Alpinas. Apparently, it's not
