Hi mab,
just type in the word "auction" to see the auction sub-forum. Yes, I've bought four cars for myself and 6 for my cousin from the Japanese auctions. You need to find a broker to work with. I've used Scott at Japan Car Direct (http://www.japancardirect.com/) Scott is a Canadian (Albertan) now living in Japan. I was very pleased with his service, he is quite conscientious. If you decide to use his services, tell him Craig from Ontario sent you.
