View Full Version : E36 B3.0 #0178 London
Hi All,
I've owned a E36 B3.0 for 10 years.
I've been restoring her and now at the point of the interior and then a good detail.

Beauty. I own an E36 B3 3.0 as well in Saskatchewan. Just under 120,000 km's and love it. Hoping to own it for a long time!
Nice - may I see photos please.

Nice looking car! Has it had a respray? Were black side skirts an option? I like the look better when it's sprayed the same colour as the car like yours is. The lines of the car flow better IMO :)

I haven't seen one with black side skirts, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.
I'm not sure about the skirts. Not been resprayed but that's on the ' to do' list.
Thanks for the comments.
I used to own a C2.7 but it got totalled in a smash up.
Ill try to dig out some pics.

Hi Stirling,
wasn't racing the Ferrari on the track but the B3 held its it own on track.
The Ferrari's torque is mind blowing and being a super car not really a contest for the B3.
The B3 confirmed that pound for pound, it is a fantastic car.
Having said that, if Alpina decided to one day to go all out on a i8 (petrol engine), then the Ferrari would be nervous going up against it. 😀

Wow! That's quite the restoration! What all did you have done to the engine?
I haven't seen one with black side skirts, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.
In a coupe or sedan? For sedan just see pics of my car.
Had the block skimmed, ported, and renewed the sleeves.
While the engine was out, we replaced the flywheel and clutch too.
