I've noticed their have been 2 E36 Tourings popping up in the last two weeks.

Looks like a decent one coming up. Cloth interior too which doesn't seem to be too common in the E39's and is actually a preference for me over leather.

I prefer leather seats because I have children. Leather doesnt stain as easy and most stuff just wipes off.

Take a look at a cop car next time you get the chance. The backseats are always leather, and the fronts are usually cloth. This is because leather is non porrus and makes cleaning bodily fluids off that much easier :D

There haven't been many E39 Alpina's for a while, but I'm drooling over this one. You have to wait about 2.5 years for it, but the exchange rate is really good right now....hmmmm...

I generally HATE the idea of modifying a collector car, but I can't think how awesome this would be with a 6 spd.

I saw that one, and man is it nice! I wonder why its an R Grade though.

I'd guess it got rear ended since it's showing W2 on the rear quarters and rear door. Might have wrinkles on the rear floor from the accident. They usually note that kind of thing on the auction sheet.

Hmm I would want someone to check it out first and make sure it was repaired properly. But otherwise that would be an awesome car to bring over.

I'm looking at picking up an X5 for my wife right now. I don't trust her with an Alpina, even though I tried to convince her to get a Touring haha

Not as much as on the world market. For some reason Canadian's don't seem to "get" cars like Alpinas. I'd bet you'd have a hard time selling it for more than $13k.
