This one came and went very quickly this AM, I didn't even see it myself, someone picked it up for a song. High miles and some rear end repairs however. Am somewhat angry over this one, been looking forever!

Wow 490,00Yen? Thats awesome!

Looks in good shape even though it has been repaired.

That does seem like an exceptional buy. You can never be sure until it lands in your driveway though. Mine was a 3.5 with fewer kms and I've put nearly $10,000 in parts and labour into it with more to go.

Considering the grade and the kms I don't think it's THAT good of a buy. Just to get it over to BC and on the road you'd be into the car for about $9,000 before you even do much for maintenance. I'd rather spend more and get something closer to 100k kms, but that's just me.

This car in Europe with that many kms is at least $25,000, if it's sorted out.

This one looks like it has some issues as well....and an auto...

Odometer altered, but it looks like it may be documented. Shaken isn't current, so it might sell a bit cheaper.

Nice one up now. It's at Aucnet though, so it will definitely be expensive.

just noticed that this morning! so clean, I will try to bid on it. Prices in general are a good 20% higher on average this year than last, it's crazy how much certain cars have been fetching. a 91 3.6 m5 just ended at 860,000yen and it was a repaired car with highish miles!

I know. Prices have gone crazy. I'm trying to pick up a euro spec 3.0 M3 and prices have jumped at least 20-25% in the past couple of months. One I tried on last night the bidding got to about 1,100,000 JPY and still didn't sell  That's more than I paid for my B8!!!

I asked my guy why he thinks prices have jumped since Jan 1 and he told me that european clients had been selling a lot of units in December so they needed to replenish. I think the yen weakening against the USD also has something to do with it. I remember it hitting 103yen per 1 USD early in January. Sucks that our CDN $ is becoming more worthless! I'm hoping the prices fall back down soon, maybe April or so.

Yeah, that's what I heard too. Even though the CAD is still doing pretty well against the JPY European countries have been doing even better. Apparently a lot of the BMW M cars and Alpinas are presently going to Finland. Maybe they are stocking up for selling cars in the spring and summer months.

The red Biturbo wen for 1,210,000. A fair price, especially if it doesn't need much work.

very fair, it did have some repaired history at the front, might have just been paint. if i didn't have a e34 3.8 m5 on the way i would have bought it in a flash.

Looks like it sold on April 17th for 1,210,000 YEN. That seems like a really good price to me. I thought these can run up to $30k in good shape?

Stirling

Yes, in Europe these can be well over $30,000 in good shape, especially if they're low kms.

I imagine they're only going to go up in the long-term. At least I hope so!

For $12k it would have definitely been worth it! Such a gorgeous color too.

looks like that one ended just over 2.1mil yen. Quite low KMs even though it seems the trunks been replaced.

That still represents a good value compared to prices in Europe, but also seems to indicate a rise in Japan prices vs the last few years.
