What is the suggested warmup and cool down procedures for this car? How long do you let it sit before turning off the key?

I don't have any advice specific to the B10, but for my turbo cars I don't go hard on boost until the oil is warmed up. For cool down, I don't think it really matters unless you've been on a track, running hard up a hill or highway drives and pulling over. What's the turbo setup on the B10's? Sequential? With my Aristo I let it idle for at least 30 seconds after highway driving, but that's only if I'm pulling straight off the highway. If you do some stop and go before you fully stop, I don't think it's a big deal.

I think this is a bit like the "what oil to use" debate though. Lots of different people out there with different opinions.

I don't run my BT hard until the oil is at operating temperature, around 90 celsius.

For cool down, I also try and do a "cool down lap" before shutting it down. What I mean is the last 3-5 minutes of my trip, I'm light on the throttle. If this is not possible, then I let it idle for about 2 minutes before turning it off.

I also pop the hood and let the heat escape as those turbos really get the engine bay hot!

Thanks Quattro, I'll add the hood pop to my repetoire.
